Activities

Fasten up your boots and get ready for some fun! Our girls are taught self worth and acceptance from day one! We incorporate how to love yourself first by doing fashion shows, where they will tear down the house to show you what their self worth is! Plays/Skits alongside our monthly girl talk topic! Our sisters enjoy putting on a show for a positive movement! Lets go!

Education

With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for our girls, with access to the right resources and people they can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.
We offer financial resource forums, College tools and tours, Career shadowing from partnered vendors, classes on being an entrepreneur and more!

Advocacy

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies of learning. Advocacy is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact.

Support

At Young Minds Empowerment, we are dedicated to continued support for our girls. Our organization is ran by donations only but through team work and fundraising we can make anything happen. We are always involved in fun activities to support YME. Donations are always needed to support the mission and education of our young girls' growth and life opportunity.

How we make it happen!

Through activities and incorporating fun we have impacted the lives of young women throughout the Greater Charlotte area. We provide a number of enrichment activities to aid in the mental, physical and emotional growth of our girls for years to come. Our girls are the leaders of tomorrow and we are here to help them reach their fullest potential.

Pink Tiger

Tigers have always been revered as powerful and influential animals. We at Young Minds Empowerment are inspired by the same strength, willpower, and boldness that the animal represents. As a mentoring service, we aim to provide young people with the same kind of self-assurance and confidence, helping them to become more resilient and self-aware as they work through any challenge that may come their way. We want our mentees to recognize their own potential and abilities, and to be able to achieve their dreams! and the pink...well, pink is our brand color!, so WHY NOT!!

The Number 21

If you see us with the number 21 on EVERYTHING! its because we are significantly just that... 21!! The meaning of the numbers 21, here is the break down:

2+1=3 (YME was est 3rd of may 2021)

The number 2= the desire for unity

The number 1= unity & the beginning of all things new!

And collectively 21=entering a time of abundance, a transition period into comfort, protection, and positive energy, helping you enter the next chapter of your life path!!

YME FOR THE WIN!!... so, there you have it, WE ARE 21'!!

"Unity" hand symbol

Oh believe me!.. we are NOT throwing up gang signs! the only gang we are into is UNITY & POSITIVITY! oh yes!! YME has adopted the "unity" hand symbol, because WHY NOT!!

Our program is based on unity and sisterhood, it just fits!! and you know what they say...if the shoe fits lol!!

At any opportunity YME girls are displaying our hand sign, in pictures, at gatherings or events, you name it!!
